As an electrical engineering student working as a photojournalist for the university's newspaper, I transferred to finish my studies in photography. Since 2008, I’ve had the honor to photograph couples and cultures sharing love all across the US, as well as internationally. My couples have taught me a lot about the world, and more importantly, about love. Art school is where Des and I met. Together since 2009, shooting weddings together since 2011, and happily married since 2016.

I grew up in the city of Chicago while Des grew up on the island of Oahu in Hawai'i. The differences in our upbringing developed our understanding and appreciation of diversity in culture, lifestyle, and aesthetics. It's allowed us to love each other wholeheartedly and fiercely, while exploring ourselves and developing our art. For us, work-life integration has given us the opportunity to enjoy life together as a couple and share our experiences with our community and you.

I very much have this urge to tinker (that engineering is still inside me... haha), so I work on a project car and geek out about cameras, watches, and anything analog. Des has this uncanny connection with nature and an eclectic curiosity for design, holistic living, and art. When we plan our leisure trips, she takes us to places I'm hesitant about, and sometimes even skeptical of as a city boy. It's widened my perspective on all things related to life, and our connection to the other. Sometimes you'll find us at the racetrack with our cars, in the middle of a forest camping, or out in the ocean wading.
